Receiving Your Kiva Loan

"I've fully funded! ...Now what?"

When your loan is fully funded, it will take 5-7 business days for your loan to be disbursed into the PayPal account you included in your loan application.

All loans are disbursed and repayments made through PayPal. Make sure your PayPal account is linked to your bank account so you can easily transfer the funds from PayPal to your bank. If the money is not showing up in your bank account, just log into your PayPal account to claim the money and transfer it into your bank account at no charge.

Your 1st repayment will be due via PayPal 1 month after the disbursal of your loan. (For businesses in the agriculture sector, the first repayment will be due 6 months after the loan disbursal.) Please check your loan qualification email if you are unsure when your 1st repayment is due.  All repayments will fall on the same day of each month, and we will also send you a repayment schedule to help you keep track of when your repayments are due!
